Why I built SYNC`D
In 2024, I reached a point of true career accomplishment. Yet, looking around a packed cafeteria at work, I was instantly heartbroken by the lack of diversity that hadn't changed in a decade.
SYNC`D is the intentional solution I needed early in my career — and the bridge we need now.
Who I am
Navigating tech as a minority woman, I found that mentors who shared my background were hard to come by. That isn't a personal failing — it's a systemic shortage of diversity, and of the intentionality required to fix it.
You can't be what you can't see. It's a real barrier to entry, and it's the one SYNC`D exists to remove — by putting relatable, experienced mentors within reach of the people too often left out of the room.
